Gloria and Jan's Wedding in Seattle: Fairmont Hotel & SCAC

A January wedding is often a chilly day, and while everyone threw on a jacket whenever they could, the warmth among Gloria, Jan, and their guests was felt throughout this winter celebration. The couple tied the knot shortly after New Year, featuring a traditional Chinese tea ceremony in the morning, a traditional ceremony at SCAC (Seattle Chinese Alliance church), a classic/Victorian-style portrait shoot in the afternoon at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle, and ended the day with a reception at House of Hong in the International District. It was indeed a packed day!It was quite the contrast in terms of temperature between Gloria and Jan's engagement session and their wedding day. The environment was drastically different too, but the emotions and joy they have for each other are felt in the same way. I really like how the classic mid-century style of the hotel compliments their expressions in the photos.Congratulations Gloria and Jan!
