Lina and Dan’s 8 Year Anniversary Session
Today, 8/8, marks Lina and Dan’s 8 year anniversary. That’s a lot of 8s, and each year solidifies another chapter of memories. This annual tradition has been a lot of fun, but more importantly, it captures a core purpose of photography — to create and document meaningful moments that you can look back on.
This visual journey started back in 2014. After they were engaged and married, each following year featured a combination of new stories with their lives along with some old staples. Some of their anniversary photo shoots explored new locations while some sessions revisited old stomping grounds. New hair, same smiles, a newborn, same chemistry. And when you throw in the concept of recalling what the world was like each year…2014, 2015, 2016, and on and on…it really adds another dimension to how nostalgic and meaningful these shoots are.
For year 8, we decided to shoot at Seahurst Park. We were once again graced with some lovely golden hour light as we strolled through some awesome greenery, sand, drift wood, and a running stream. It’s really cool to see their family continue to grow, and I look forward to more moments for years to come.
