Lauren + Greg | Wedding | Olympic Pavilion Rooftop

An amazing trait about photographing weddings is that each one is uniquely special in their own way. No two are exactly the same, and even shooting for over a decade now, it’s really cool to see all the moving pieces come together. For Lauren and Greg’s summer wedding, what really stood out was the nostalgia of the past combined with the excitement for the future.

I thoroughly enjoyed hearing about their story of how they met. They go back, and because it’s a bond that has cultivated over time, the entire wedding day was filled with recollections, laughter, and heartfelt speeches. And what better way to celebrate than to tie the knot on a beautiful rooftop on top of the Olympic Pavilion Rooftop, which is the top floor of Hotel Ballard. The ceremony space provided a gorgeous view of Lake Washington mixed with the cityscape of Ballard. The summer sunset graced us as the live band kept the party going. Shoutout to this beautiful couple, their wonderful family and friends, and all the vendors for making this wedding unforgettable.
