It's always uniquely exciting when I have the opportunity to shoot wedding photos for a couple I've known for a while. I go way back with Mei and Sean, and it really feels like just yesterday when we were all still living in our youth. The past connection and memories make photographing them on their wedding that much more special. It certainly hits different.Mei and Sean started off their 5/20 wedding celebration by getting ready at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seattle. They also had two separate First Looks here: one between Mei and her dad and one with Sean at the balcony with a beautiful view of the Seattle waterfront. It's heartwarming to see their overflow of joy and emotions during these moments.Due to COVID-19 and navigating through the pandemic, Mei and Sean decided to have a small intimate elopement with just their immediate family at Discovery Park. We arrived at a stunning view where their close friend officiated the couple's commitment towards each other. Once more, as a photographer, it really is an honor to capture moments of genuine expressions of emotions. Their ceremony was personal and you can tell it meant a lot to their family. We ended their special day by utilizing the vast Discovery Park space for portraits. As the warm 70+ degrees day was setting, it brought upon immaculate light for Mei and Sean to stroll through trails, trees, and fields. They danced, they laughed, and they soaked in years of memories with each other all rolled up into this wonderful moment. It was such an honor. Congratulations Mei and Sean!
