Elaine + Morris | Engagement Session| Discovery Park & Seattle Waterfront
Elaine and Morris flew into town just in time for some surprising gorgeous February Seattle weather. We really couldn't have asked for more in terms of lighting and scenery. What a beautiful day. On top of that, the engagement session felt like simply hanging out with old friends again, catching up on life and chatting about the future. I have been blessed with amazing clients over the years, but whenever they're longtime friends, it just makes the moments that much more special. We started our little trek in Discovery Park as the sun slowly made its way down. It was fun walking through the open fields, shrubs, and trees with Elaine and Morris. Golden hour eventually graced upon us, and as you can see from the images below, the warmth complimented their smiles and laughter. Just two goofballs having a good ol' time. Since they will be getting married later this year on the east coast, I'm glad they were able to capture the Pacific Northwest vibes on this session. After the sunset, which was absolutely beautiful, we made our way to the Seattle Waterfront during blue hour. I love this time of the day because the city lights glow as there are still traces of light in the dim blue sky. I took them on top of Pier 66 and captured more images with a stunning Seattle backdrop. Congratulations once again to these two, and I can't wait to see you tie the knot later this year!
