Carolyn and Michael's Engagement @ Mercer Slough / Bellevue Botanical Garden

As a wedding photographer, it's always fun to meet new people and learn more about the couple's journey. Once in a while, I also encounter the opportunity to work with some familiar faces. I actually met Michael back in 2011-2012 through another friend. Quite some time has passed, and I had a great time just catching up with him and meeting his fiancé Carolyn during their engagement session.We started off at the Mercer Slough Nature Park in Bellevue, WA. What a hidden gem of a location, as the acres of beautiful scenery is tucked away from the busy roads and buildings in this part of the city. However, once you venture into the trails, you'll be pleasantly surprised with the beautiful fall leaves, blueberry bushes, and the slough.Afterwards, we finished off the session at the Bellevue Botanical Garden, which features more fall vibes and a cool suspension bridge. It was beautiful scenery for a beautiful couple. I'm definitely looking forward to capturing more moments with them at their wedding next year!
