Allie + James | Ballard Bay Club | Seattle Wedding
Allie and James celebrated their intimate wedding day at the Ballard Bay Club, located near Shilshole Bay. This couple, the ceremony, family and guests, and every detail came together to make this one of the most memorable weddings I have ever shot. Speaking of details, I have photograph weddings that were blazing sunny, cloudy and gray, drenched in rain, but a thunder/lighting storm broke out during their reception! That was truly one for the ages.The day started out with Allie and her family and friends getting ready at a nearby airbnb location with a great rooftop view. After moving over to the Ballard Bay Club, we were greeted with a beautiful venue space. Check out the awesome wooden arches that were built by La Matriarca WoodWorkings for the ceremony. The backdrop provided the perfect setting for Allie and James, as they said their vows and tied the knot in front of their friends and family. I really appreciated the authentic flow of their big day. Even in the preparation, Allie and James mentioned wanting great candid images of not only them, but also their guest. With this kind of focus, it really brought out some vibrant energy in all the photos. Congratulations to this wonderful couple!
